On August 27^th morning, The 5^th Membership Conference and The Charity Work Meeting of Xiaoshan District Charity Association was held, at which Sun Xudong, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hangzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of the CPC Xiaoshan District Committee, stressed to profoundly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourse on charity cause, and promote the charity cause across the district to scale new heights and write new chapters with the mission positioning as "a leading wild goose, a forefunner and a pioneer”, so as to gather tremendous charitable strength to accelerate the construction of "two exemplary models" for Xiaoshan.

The district leaders Zhao Liming, Li Jun, Gu Tao, Yang Xincheng and Shi Lijun etc. were present at the meeting.

Sun Xudong, on behalf of the four leadership teams of the district, expressed heartfelt gratitude and sincere greetings to all sectors of society and the vast number of charity workers who have long supported the charity cause in Xiaoshan. He pointed out that since the change of the term of office for last leadership, the District Charity Federation and its various branches have closely focused on the central work of the district Party committee, taken on the mission with courage, acted proactively, continuously polished the "Good Deeds of Xiaoshan" brand, and achieved remarkable results. We should deeply master the new connotations and requirements for charity  cause in the new era, always integrate the charity concept into economic construction and social governance, unswervingly promote the charity cause in Xiaoshan to take the lead and strive for excellence, and spare no effort to build a great charity district and a leading charity district.
