12 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 7 bronze medals, the provincial-level honors won by the intangible cultural heritage works from Xiaoshan

At The 13th Zhejiang Fine Arts and Crafts Exhibition and Zhejiang Exhibition of Creative Design for Arts and Crafts held recently, the intangible cultural heritage works selected and submitted from Xiaoshan District was highly praised by judges and won 12 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 7 bronze medals. 


Among them, 12 pieces of works including the sculpture Poetic Sage, the official kiln piece New Bowl of Monk Fahai, and the fine-line engraving paper piece Scenery etc. won the gold medal. 5 pieces such as the official kiln works Rhombus Pattern Basin, the porcelain print works A Set of Animals and Flowers, and the ceramic piece Chun Chun Cloud and Thunder Pattern Vase etc. won the silver medal. 7 pieces such as the stone sculpture Sakyamuni Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Vow and Merit Sutra, the ceramic piece Green Tone incense burner series, and Xiangshan lacework  Legend of Vermilion Bird won the bronze medal. 


As a major highlight of this exhibition, The 13th Zhejiang Fine Arts and Crafts Exhibition featured a special exhibition of Xiaoshan Pavilion, showcasing over a hundred pieces of distinctive Xiaoshan intangible cultural heritage works with rich regional characteristics, including Xiaoshan lace, the Southern Song Dynasty official kiln wares, the Kingdom Yue kiln blue and white porcelain, and Zhaodong paper-cutting etc. The works is diverse in types, novel in design, and full of creativity, collectively demonstrating the charm of the times for Xiaoshan intangible cultural heritage in its inheritance process.
