Yesterday, "Culture & Tourism, Everything Can Be Integrated"Zhejiang Culture and Tourism Overall Ranking Award Ceremony 2023 was held in Xiaoshan to witness the development of Zhejiang culture and tourism from the perspective of media, and promote the Chinese style of modernized provincial culture and tourism practice with the power of media. Jiang Yongzhu, Vice Secretary of the CPC Xiaoshan District Committee and the district head, was present and delivered a speech.

In recent years, under the guidance of Zhejiang Province Department of Culture and Tourism, Xiaoshan has insisted on shaping tourism with culture and highlighting culture with tourism, and has continuously promoted the strengthening of all  culture and tourism essentials, the all-regional balance and the progress of the whole industry with the help of energizing by events, carrying by big platforms and traction by big programs. In particular, under the continuous influences of the "long tail effect" from Hangzhou Asian Games, the "two-way rush" between the city and the culture,tourism, competitions and performance is being realized. In the first half of this year, the district held 1,290 concerts, events and exhibitions of all kinds. From January to May, both the total number of overnight tourists and the year-on-year growth rate ranked first in the province.

In the second half of the year, Xiaoshan will also hold serial international and high-level performance activities, sports events and conventions, striving to make the competition and performance + culture and tourism economy become a new growth pole to boost consumption. In Xianghu Lake, the sister lake of the West Lake, Hangzhou Asian Games main torch tower "Qianjiang Tidal Surge" and the opening and closing ceremony performance program "Xianghu Lake · Elegant Rhyme" have been settled here permanently, which is to be officially performed on June 30 as China's first digital and AI lakeview performance show of Asian Games heritage.
