Xiaoshan has always been an important ancient town along the bank of Qiantang River, which does not only highlight the unique life practices of the ancestors born with tides, but has also left a batch of sparkling intangible cultural heritage. Recently, The 3rd Intangible Cultural Heritage Creativity Design Competition of Xiaoshan District with the theme "Qiantang Tidal Surge, New Arrival of Intangible Cultural Heritage" officially kicked off.  

Guided by Zhejiang Province Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, sponsored by the District Culture and Radio, TV, Tourism and Sports Bureau and the District Cultural Creativity Industry Development Center, and organized by the District Cultural Center (the District Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center), this event aimed to promote the cultural and creative products that meet the needs of contemporary aesthetic needs and life scenes to integrate into the current life, and assist to promote the landing and transformation of Xiaoshan intangible cultural heritage products.    

No limit is set in terms of the form and appearance of the works collected in this competition, but they must meet the competition theme and collection categories. It is required to rely on the profound intangible cultural heritage and focus on the regional cultural characteristics, intangible cultural heritage techniques and tourism resources etc. of Xiaoshan to dig the cultural core and make artistic processing and creative transformation, so as to generate characteristic intangible cultural heritage creativity products with distinctive local characteristics such as tourism crafts, tourism souvenirs, and creative hand gift boxes etc.
