Introduction of the exhibition hall    

Located at the south bank of Qiantang River, and east of Qianjiang Bridge III - Xiaoshan District Qianjiang Century CBD, Hangzhou International Expo Center is affiliated to Hangzhou Olympic Sports Expo Center Xiaoshan Construction Investment Co., Ltd., and is entrusted to Beichen Convention and Exhibition Group for management and operation. On September 4^th and 5^th, 2016, Hangzhou International Expo Center made a stunning appearance as the main venue for the G20 Hangzhou Summit, writing a new footnote for "China service".  

With a total floor area of 850,000 m², Hangzhou International Expo Center integrates multiple business patterns such as conference, exhibition, catering, tourism, hotel, commerce and office buildings etc., bringing more expectations for the innovative mode of exhibition venue operation. 850,000m²

The single building floor area of Hangzhou International Expo Center is 850,000m², and it is a single building with a greater size at home.     

65,000m²

The roof garden is 44m high from the ground, covering an area of 65,000m², which is equivalent to that of 8.5 standard football fields.  

1000 m²

The 1,000m² of column-less multi-purpose hall builds optimal experience for meetings and exhibitions.  

3.5 “Bird’s Nests” 

The total amount of earthwork excavation of Hangzhou International Expo Center is about 2.2 million cubic meters, it covers a total area of 19.7 hectares, and the main building is composed of 5 floors above ground and 2 underground, with a total steel consumption of 145,000 tons, equivalent to 3.5 Beijing "Bird's Nests"; the concrete is 600,000 cubic meters, which can fill 280 standard swimming pools.   

Venue facilities 

The exhibition center covers an area of 90,000 m², with a total of 10 exhibition halls distributed on three floors and is equipped with a column-free exhibition hall of 10,000m². The interior decoration is unique, with both a magnificent international style and elegant Southern China elements, and it can meet the needs of holding high-level international conferences such as APEC and Davos. From the heads of states to the BAT three magnates, from the godfather of entrepreneurship to the stars from all walks of life, Hangzhou International Expo Center has become the place that celebrities visit frequently, and it is also the first place for many hi-tech and cutting-edge reports.     

Conference center

The conference venue section is furnished with top-of-the-line conference audio-visual equipment to meet the needs of international conferences. There are a total of 61 conference venues, of which two conference halls are equipped with 16 simultaneous interpretation service, and there are several small & medium-sized conference halls, which can meet the needs of large, medium and small meetings and conferences at the same time.  

Exhibition center

The exhibition area is 90,000 square meters, divided into 10 exhibition halls, and the area for each ranges from 7,700 square meters to 10,000 square meters, which can meet the needs of  holding different sizes and different types of exhibitions at the same time. A column-free exhibition hall of 10,000m² is set separately, equipped with a lighting and sound system of individualized design, and can meet the requirements for multi-functional use of special exhibitions, large-scale gatherings, sports and leisure activities etc.   

Hotel supporting facilities

Hangzhou International Expo Center Beichen Hotel, equipped with 262 guest rooms, 5 conference rooms and Chinese restaurant, the Impression Western Restaurant and lobby bar; the lobby bar connects the sky garden with panoramic view of the garden, and the high-end and full range of hotel facilities provide supporting service for conferences and exhibitions.  

Sky Garden 

The total area is about 65,000 square meters, which constitutes a multi-level green space system. It can not only meet the needs of high-standard reception, high-standard banquets, and high-end boutique exhibitions, but also the city lounge echoes with the "City Balcony" on the other side of Qiantang River, forming a new highlight of the city.
