Recently, the construction for Bo’ao Tunnel project , one of the core channels for the Hangzhou Asian Games 2022, has entered the mop-up stage and is to be opened soon. The Bo 'ao Tunnel is located between Qianjiang Bridge III and Qingchun Road River-crossing Tunnel, with a length of about 2.8 km and four lanes in both directions, passes under Qiantang River. The design speed is 60 km per hour. It is a shortcut connecting the core area of Qianjiang CBD with the National Expo Center and the Olympic Sports Center and after opening to traffic, it will take 3 minutes only between the two sides under normal cases.
