Yaqian Peasant Movement Memorial Hall introduces the historical evolution from the farming, fishing and hunting ancient town in southern China at the bank of Qiantang River to the holy land for red peasant movement that once shocked Xiaoshan and Shaoxing in modern times and then to the present new industrialized town. By artistic measures of display boards, micro art sculpture, multi-media 3D projection, live-action cinema and ink cartoons etc. in multiple perspectives, the hall presents the glorious history of Yaqian peasant movement very vividly and shows the inheritance of Yaqian spirit. The memorial hall has been selected into the first batch of “Hangzhou City Party Member Education Demonstration Bases” and “The First Batch of Hangzhou Red Museum Alliance” members.
