The “1+4+X” industrial development planning to build cluster aggregation force

“1”: refers to the “two belts and two corridors” in the economic industry layout;

“4”: refers to the 4 most significant platforms of the whole district including Xiaoshan Economy & Technology Development Zone (Xiaoshan Technology Town), Qianjiang Century CBD, Airport Economy Zone, and Xianghu Lake State Tourist Resort etc.;

“X”: the key industrial carriers including the “4286”, refers to the four great industry CBDs, the two great industry bases, the eight key featured towns and the six key industrial communities.   

For recent years, Xiaoshan District has planned the future industrial development with an internationalized and global vision, and boosted traditional industry transformation to run at “accelerated speed” by using the intervention of new technologies including big data, cloud calculation, VR and robot etc.

With the continuous gathering of a great batch of leading enterprises and highly growing enterprises from all corners worldwide including Iflytek Co.Ltd., Beijing University IT Institute for Advanced Study, Alibaba “City Brain”, Netease Artificial Intelligence(AI), SenseTime, and Transfar Intelligence Link etc., Xiaoshan is gradually realizing the leap from “Made in Xiaoshan” to “Made with Wisdom in Xiaoshan” and becoming a new hot land for technology innovation.  

THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT

Build the “4286” industrial carrier space and cultivate original place for innovation.

In order to further expand the development space for emerging industries, Xiaoshan District builds the “4286” industrial carrier including the “four great industry CBDs, two great industry bases, eight featured towns and six industrial communities”.

Four great industry CBDs

Namely Wanxiang Innovative Energy Gathering Town, Intelligence Link Technology Town, Qiantang Finance Town and Three-river Smart Town;

Two great industry bases

Namely Zhejiang Green Intelligent Manufacturing Base (Yinong), Hangzhou Qiannan High-end Intelligent Manufacturing Base(Xiaoshan Economy & Technology Development Zone Qiaonan Block);

Eight featured towns  

Including the Information Harbor Town, Robot Town, Airport Town, Turing Town, Future Intelligent Manufacturing Town, Xianghu Lake Finance Town, Military & Civil Integrated Town and International Health Town;

Six industrial communities

Covering Fengqing Technology Innovation Center, Zhejiang Private Enterprise HQ Park, Zhejiang Airport Industry Park, Hangzhou Hongshan Biology Industry Park, Hangzhou Precise Manufacturing Industry Park,and Hangzhou New Materials Industry Park, for building the featured towns that integrate industry and town, technology innovation and production and humane scenery

Zhejiang University Hangzhou International Technology Innovation Center is the technology innovation center jointly built by Hangzhou City People’s Government and Zhejiang University with the crossed gathering and cross-border integration in terms of material science, information technology and life science block as the direction and will be built as an innovative biology community that faces to significant strategy in international regions and the front end of international technology.  

New Orientation

Through building the “two belts and two corridors” including Qiantang Emerging Industry Belt, Airport Economy Belt, Fengqing Technology Innovation Corridor and Times Intelligent Manufacturing Corridor, it is to build Xiaoshan as a central innovation district which gathers technology essentials, has active R & D innovation, strong business pioneering atmosphere, perfect living service, convenient transportation, beautiful ecologic environment and deep integration of production and town.  

New Industry

It is to highlight developing the “7+1” emerging industries including high-end equipment manufacturing, information, finance, new energy automobile, health, tourism, cultural creation and new materials, and actively cultivate “the future” industries in terms of artificial intelligence (AI), additional material manufacturing, robot, the Internet of Things, big data, cloud calculation, intelligent automobile, AR/VR and quantum communication etc.

New Layout

It is to build the “one center, two wings and five platforms” new type urbanization development layout which has the central urban area as the core, the eastern airport advanced manufacturing industry corridor and the southern Puyang River Tourism Ecology Area as the two wings, the five platforms including Xiaoshan Economy & Technology Development Zone, Hangzhou Airport Economy Zone, Qianjiang Century CBD, Xianghu Lake State Tourist Resort and Xiaoshan Technology Town etc. as the support.
