Qianjiang Century CBD

Standing at the junction of the “two axles” for Hangzhou City, Qianjiang Century CBD is located in the north of Xiaoshan District, at the south bank of Qiantang River, and is adjacent to Xiaoshan International Airport with a total planned land in 22.27km² and a planned population of 160,000.

Qianjiang Century CBD is the bridge tower for Xiaoshan to implement the “Grand Bay Area” construction and promote “the development by gathering along the river” with all efforts, carrying the dream “high-rise buildings standing fully along the river of two banks” for Hangzhou, and also undertaking the important task for the construction of “one center two wings” core area and the Asian Games core area.

Standing at the south bank of Qiantang River, Xiaoshan Technology Town is right in the best development period since its birth four years ago, it is an important node for Hangzhou development by gathering along the river, is closely connected with Qianjiang Century CBD and the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games core area, and together with Qianjiang Century CBD, Hangzhou Airport Economy Demonstration Zone, they compose the development axis for the Grand Bay Area at the south bank of Qiantang River.

The Strategic Planning on Overall Development for The Area of Xianghu Lake and The Junction of Three Rivers (Crossing of Three Rivers) has planned a scope in 450km², which will become the front-end battle field for Xiaoshan development by gathering around the river. As the strategic pivot to connect Xiaoshan central urban area and “Hangzhou South Garden”, at a certain extent it plays a role to “serve as a link between past and future” and can further radiate and drive a new round of development for Banshan region in southern Xiaoshan.

In the future, the block of Xianghu Lake and the junction of three rivers will actively cooperate with world waterside areas to promote the development of four great industry sections in terms of the intelligent technology, financial innovation, cultural creation and tourism health reservation and try to build it as the new growth pole for the future development of Hangzhou and a demonstration area of the provincial integrated development for “four great construction programs”.
